Silencer

Silencer is a narrative game about propaganda and information control in politics and journalism.

The player is a bottom-level news censor employed by the new government. They interpret censorship protocols, read news articles, and decide if an article should be taken down.

Should the player censor dissent for the government, or let people be heard?

Warning

The game contains profanities. A PG-13 build has been uploaded for both the PC and Mac platform for the younger audience.

Known issues that the dev is working on:

• Censorship numbers may not reflect correctly in the end week report, but it does not impact gameplay.
• Tea shop items’ highlight issues.
• After making multiple mistakes in a row, the special email player receives doesn't show correctly.
• The text players put in for apology does not allow spaces or new lines after the full text. It will be improved in the next update.
