Silencer

Silencer is a narrative game about propaganda and information control in politics and journalism.

The player is a bottom-level news censor employed by the new government. They interpret censorship protocols, read news articles, and decide if an article should be taken down.

Should the player censor dissent for the government, or let people be heard?

Warning

The game contains profanities. A PG-13 build has been uploaded for both the PC and Mac platform for the younger audience.

• The game is currently under development for its Phase 1 goal. Ideally, the dev would like to release it officially between 2026 and 2027. More information available on Steam!
